Rebecca Romijn was a model before becoming an actress. Her most well-known role is because of her portrayal as "Mystique," the lead character in the opening part of X-Men. Romijn played a role in a Marvel filmcalled "The Punisher", in where she was Joan. Since starting her professional life as a model, Romijn has worked for the top brands like Christian Dior, Sports Illustrated as well as Victoria's Secret. The model spent the last decade working for major fashion houses, but then resigned from that area of profession to concentrate on her acting profession. Romijn became more popular on television than she previously was in Hollywood. She was a character in the comedy drama "Ugly Betty," and later "Jessie Nichols" in the The NTSF SD SUV.'
